TYPE B
Facilitates the connection of a ½" Type A, E, F or DP camlock to a ½" female thread of any material.

CAMLOCK SYSTEM
Cam and groove couplings, also known as camlocks, refers to a group of fittings that form part of a system that allows quick connection and disconnection of hose and other components. Each individual fitting performs different tasks and each is described by TYPE, each type is designed to be compatible with other types within the same size designation, making them ideal for components that are required to be quickly interchangeable.
Camlock couplings operate by opening the female coupler arms and inserting the grooved male counterpart, when the arms are folded down into position the internal cam rotates into the groove to pull the two parts together creating a tight joint.

Polypropylene Material
Polypropylene has an excellent chemical resistance profile, high heat resistance and good mechanical strength. Polypropylene is lightweight, has excellent dielectric strength, but poor UV resistance and low impact strength at freezing temperatures.

Thermal Properties
Polypropylene shows very good characteristics in the temperature range of -5°C to +100°C
At lower temperatures the impact strength drops considerably.
