This type of valve has the advantage of a robust construction, with a one-piece body and a symmetrical and solid centered butterfly, ensuring a strong sealing on the elastomer seal in both flow directions. • Installation on the piping of this valve must be done in the open position. • The valve is equipped with a Handwheel Gearbox. • The irreversible handwheel gearbox enables stopping and position holding while facilitating operation. • Gearboxes without grease nipple are lubricated for life • Gearboxes with a grease nipple are to be lubricated once a year or every 500 manoeuvres.
