40mm SAFI 3101 PVCu Double Union Ball Valve

The SAFI 3101 Series Double Union Ball Valve is very popular across multiple industries. It is mainly due to the host of superior features, its high quality construction, its adaptability, and its cost effectiveness amongst rivals in the market.

This model has Metric Plain Socket Ends for cement jointing and is designed for connection to 40 mm PVCu Pipe.

This valve series features stainless steel mounting inserts and with available optional components the valve user can choose to extend the handle or add an electric or pneumatic actuator. The supplied handle is designed so that it can be locked in fully open or closed positions. Note: *Padlock is not included.

Properties and Performance

Operating Temperature: 0°C to +60°C

PVC-U shows very good characteristics in the temperature range from 0°C to 60°C (subject to de-rating). At lower temperatures the material impact strength drops considerably. For further information about temperature & pressure relationship please click on our Tech Talk.

Nominal Working Pressure: 16 Bar

Nominal pressure is based on water at 20°C. Consult derating charts when application requires higher temperatures or aggressive chemicals.
