Chemical Resistances
The choice of pump material should be a primary consideration when choosing your drum pump, the material needs to be chemically resistant to the chemicals that you are looking to transfer. Each pump material within our range will have its own chemical resistance profile and the purchaser should satisfy themselves as to the suitability for purpose before purchase. We are on hand to help with any questions you may have in this regard.
Stainless Steel: Generally very good resistance to chemicals and solvents. Good with aqueous, salts, acids or alkaline solutions. Can be attacked by halogens, some acids and oxidizing agents, and by aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons at high temperatures.
